That made me just about piss myself when I read it. Ahh wasted youth...
Sadly I think I failed many, many more than I made. I rarely had an adventurer last more than a session with his marbles intact.
Well ... really, what kind of fun was there to be had making the rolls? :)
It didn't feel truly Lovecraftian unless you went nuts.
