"CURDLE YOUR PILGRIMAGE! CURDLE YOUR PILGRIMAGE!" makes me smile in a way that may produce profound wrinkling. It's pure madness, and even the Doom Patrol knows it. When a man trapped in a robot body and a victim of multiple personality disorder think you're nuts ... you're nuts.
As my newly added pimp-a-riffic Amazon sidebar suggests, I have been re-reading Doom Patrol: Crawling From the Wreckage, collecting the start of Grant Morrison's run on the book. Reading it again, the surrealism and strangeness fell away. So much of that is just noise, feedback ... you need to get past that to appreciate that Morrison is a fine writer beyond his Big Ideas and High Strangeness. I intended to write a longer post (and may still), but am not sure there's much point in adding my critical thought on an acknowledged masterpiece more than 15 years after it's original publication.

I like the idea of a little Amazon table to show what you're reading--how'd you do that?
I took one of their generated ads, broke down the HTML, and then wrote my own table, using links from the excellent Eli's Amazon Link Generator.
You're welcome to use the HTML code.
